"你和世界，我选择你。"

One of my favourite scene in one of my favourite movies.

One of the most stated criticism I've heard about it was how it tried to stuff a lot of things in the movie - like teenagers leaving their house, underage labours, gun control, bad people trying to lure young girls into prostitution, being a parent, facing your past, climate change.... and a lot more, that it made the movie seemed a little too oversaturated with stuffs to discuss.

But personally I think that's precisely what Makoto was trying to convey - it is a world full of chaos, good and bad, things to discover and things to despise - but screw all these because all I needed was you and you only.
